Leaf Spring Shackles are brackets that mount to the frame and hold the Leaf Springs in place. Leaf Spring Shackles are replaced primarily due to corrosion, exposure to harsh winter and humid conditions, normal wear and tear, and crash and collision. When Leaf Spring Shackles need to be replaced, the vehicle is not safe to drive due to compromise of the Suspension System (Leaf Springs may collapse).
